State Mountain Bike Leaders Meeting

HMBA, BCMB, SIMBA, Griffin & TMBA Leaders Meeting

On Saturday February 7th 2026 HMBA hosted several state mountain bike leaders for the first of what we hope are many future meetings. The number one objective for this meeting was to collaborate amongst our leadership teams. We spent a few hours discussing how we can improve things behind the scenes as well the finish product in the woods for our users. Another objective was to begin a platform of openness to share our collective knowledge we have all learn from years of advocacy and stewardship to those that will pick up the torch someday. At the end of the meeting all everyone felt this was a good exercise and looking forward to the next meets. I would like to thank everyone who took time out of their Saturday schedule to join in this meeting. This was a great start!
