How come nebo does not get any trail status ratings?  ???

That trail is somewhat unique in that the conditions up on the ridge are almost always good (barring an absolute deluge). The double track getting to the ridge from the trailhead is another story however. It is often muddy unless there is an extended dry spell.
 
As for why it's not on the board, I'd say it probably doesn't get enough traffic to receive regular updates.

Nebo is part of the Hoosier National Forest, and not officially maintained by private owners or official HMBA volunteer efforts. It's also mostly mixed hike/bike/horse trail, and as such can be pretty much ridden anytime.

In other words, it can be a place to get your mud on! 8)

Just because HMBA doesn't maintain it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be treated with respect.   Please stay off of it during freeze-thaw times and after other wet weather events, until it gets a chance to dry.
