HMBA Trail Status Android App

for trail conditions.  Looks interesting.

I was thinking about writing an android app this winter to have it done before the spring freeze/thaw cycle.  I was thinking something similar to what they have.  I do like the Sunrise/sunset feature

I started working on this, it would be much easier if the trail status had its own page.

I'm in the process of rewriting the trail status stuff so that it encompasses more than just status, it also has location, directions, info, weather, etc.  It has been in the process for a while, its just something i'm doing in my spare time.  I hope to have it ready by the spring freeze/thaw.

Part of it includes a full rest service to get that data via xml or json which will look like this http://hmbatrails.herokuapp.com/status.json

This works well!  It's just a webpage so works on Iphone too.  I created an icon for it on my 4S.

This is great.  I didn't even realize you could create an icon for a webpage like that.  I guess I never really needed to.  I'll join this century at some point.

This app works for android devices. Download directly to your phone and it should open the installer.
