Linton Conservation Club is open!
« on: August 11, 2011, 09:46:39 PM »
We have gotten right at half the trails open for riding at LCC.
Trails 5,6,7,8,11 and the main trail are currently open.
We recently added Death Valley. A brand new beginner trail. (we found a couple dead animals and a horse grave while clearing) It needs tires but is a great warm up.
Trails 1 and 2 may go away or be rerouted. 3, 4,  and 9 have huge trees on them. 10 has disappeared and needs recut completely.
We added 2 bridges, and plan to add a jump/stunt area.

We post our rides at Tri-Countycycling.webs.com and our Tri-county cycling facebook group. Feel free to check out the trails and the sites.

Is the trail that used to be called the "Mother" trail still open. I remember that one well from back in the day racing the LOCO series in the late 90s/early 2000s. Definitely a challenge/

We do have the Mother open. Some of the bridges need a bit of work yet. But we have been riding it since mid summer. Still cant believe they raced on it.  :P
