Driving to Madison Thursday night, going to Oshkosh Friday.  Probably driving home some time Saturday.

But this post will probably get deleted as it's not relevant to the trail conditions!

Don't you two  sky demons have your own forum to discuss such lofty pursuits?

CCW it is!!  Sorry, just got excited and picked the closest entrance.  Beautiful and well built trail.  If it wasn't for the occasional runs from the Lawrence Fire Dept, you'd think you were miles from nowhere.  Watch out for the white tails!

It's a great trail. However, I'm not a fan of the CW runners that pop up out of nowhere. Thanks Indiana Dave and Jeff Blum for showing the way.

This trail rocks did two laps this morning and almost wiped out the entire Lawrence Central cross country team as they were going the wrong way.

The runner/rider interface will be a major issue on this trail as a lot of runners have been using portions of the trail for some time now.  There was a bit of unpleasantness that Mike, Travis, Terry and myself experienced last Sunday where we were accused by an irate trail runner of not controlling our bikes  on the trails,  I can see more of these incidents occurring  as the runners realize that they will now be sharing the glorious Schoen Creek trail with a bunch of MTB'ers.   Be kind and courteous because and follow the IMBA rules.

It's actually better for runners to go CW too, since you can see them and they can see you coming.

The attached imba link says it all. Mountain bikers should be yielding to pedestians or horses (not an issue) on the trail while being courteous and pleasant. It is not a race it is a journey! ;D Slow down! :o, http://www.imba.com/catalog/imba-share-trail-sign. I tried to post the picture but it did not work. Signage is being discussed with the State Park which you will see in the near future. ;D

cross country {...} going the wrong way.

To add to Dean's comment, there is no wrong way to walk/run on the trail.  The only directionally-controlled mode of transportation is biking.  We are the known value, foot traffic is the variable.
