That sounds like something official...

Yeah, we couldn't have that.

Please be patient on the status. It's a complicated situation that I have no control over. Personaly, I'd be glad we can ride the trail under construction and leave it at that.

There is a fairly large branch and vine blocking the trail right before the large bridge (i rode clockwise)  Other than that, the trail was wonderful.  I know it's not officially open, but it was in the 70s this morning and I had to try it.  Thanks to all the workers, I hope to get out and join you sometime.

Yeah, don't do that.  The proper direction is CCW.

I'll take a look for the branch tonight.

Three of us were riding at lunch (counter clockwise) and were able to move the limb out of the way.  All is clear.  Nice and tacky.

We did come across one clockwise guy too.

Until we get signage installed, it will be up to everyone that reads this forum to let everyone else know that counter clockwise is the correct direction.

Yeah, I checked it out on Saturday, and started riding clockwise at first because I thought that was the entrance. Luckily I ran into a dad and his kids about 20 feet in and they pointed me in the right direction. Wouldn't have found the entrance otherwise.

And you guys that built this trail did a phenomenal job! It reminds me of the BC trails. Was a great trail for my first mtb ride this year (and with how busy I've been, I doubt I'll get too many more rides in :/ )

Or arrows down the entire length of the bridge.

Actually two spots that people should realize they are riding the wrong direction.  First one has been pointed out(Bridge to big) and the other is along the road you drive in on.  If your riding clockwise you'll come to it before the switchback and if your riding the proper direction it'll be after :)  Its a square cement box like obstacle.  Kinda looks like a well pit with one corner broken and filled with gravel.  Counterclockwise direction has an approach built to it.

The area where the concrete box is located in the ruins of the former sewage treatment plant for the old Fort Harrison Army post./  It is informally know as S#!t Ridge or Poop Ridge.

This is not the thread you're looking for.  All of your questions are unofficially answered here
