Rode this gem yesterday, what can I say other than OH MY GOD WHAT A TRAIL! The hmba trail gremlins sure outdid themselves this time, I alternately found myself praising then cursing the run, usually within minutes of each other, so by my own standards that means its an epic trail, certainly a worthy addition to the BCSP network to say the least.
Oh look, a dragonfl*CRUNCH!*

WHOW!  Haven't ridden Green Valley - this weekend weather permitting, but what interest me even more is the proposed HP return loop trail...when is that going to happen!?!

Keep up the good work!

Now why would anyone want HP to be a loop?  Don't we have enough trails yet!

Well in case there is interest, an HP loop has been thought out at high level.  We will be working on design and approval this summer. Then its a question of volunteer building or fund raising for pro building.  Look for the HMBA Trail to step up fund raising for the HMBA Trail Fund soon.

Yeah I second that.  Nevertheless, hope the weather holds and I can get down to check out Green Valley this week sometime.

Rode the new one both ways today, such a great addition to the park!

We rode 31 miles and that didn't include NT loop or pine.  :) everything else though. Best trails in indiana.

I was among the three women's clinic "volunteers" who sent the students on their way making all lefts home while riding Green Valley!  It was AWESOME!   ;D

Not really.   ;)

They didn't need helpers (or tail gunners as we were called) for the morning session so we took the opportunity to ride.  It's a 'perma-grin' section.

Rode this three times this weekend, twice from North Tower to Aynes,. talk about awesome!!! Fast and flowing and wide enough that in most cases you can pass oncoming riders with out worrying about ditching.  The climb up to Aynes is a bit of a grind but then you remember that you can turn around and take it the fast way back.

I think that I told every rider I came across about Green Valley and how that if they did not ride it they wasted the trip. On my last pass there was like 10 riders at the North entrance all grinning ear to ear after riding it.

If you thought Brown County was a top trail system before... they just cements it even more.  thanks to everyone who put time on on this new trail.
That's Justin to you, Mr. Shamrock!

Rode Green Valley yesterday and had a grin from end to end. Awesome flowing trail that is just a blast.
Great addition to the trail system.
Thanks to all who donated their time and effort towards this.

URGENT HELP NEEDED!

Green Valley trail needs your bike tires ASAP! Green Valley is now connected and 95% complete. Come out this weekend and enjoy this newest addition to BCSP courtesy of HMBA and Spectrum Trail Design. If you like what you ride and want to see more trail built in the park then let the park staff know and consider donating to HMBA's trail building fund. Check back later for the official grand opening date and time.

I was happy to help lay down some tracks on GV this weekend.  I was cruising along thinking "this seems pretty easy, wonder why it's an intermediate trail" when all of a sudden the trail got narrower and I nearly fell off the tread into the creek.  Thanks to all the trail builders for this latest BCSP masterpiece.  In the words of Cousin Eddie, "she's a beaut, Clark".

Green Valley: 1
Dan: 0

I decided to pull a JR Hildebrand on one of the rocky switchbacks by taking the outside and not slowing down enough, which resulted in me ending up on my back in the muddy ravine.  I am fine (so is my bike).  BRAVO to the trail builders.  The downhills were great and that narrow section was a nice surprise.  Good mix of risk and reward.
