I rode tonight and had a blast. The trails are almost perfectly dry, except for the flat ballfield section.

This is the first time I've ridden the new reroute stuff  under good conditions and I'm REALLY pleased with the way it turned out. For being so new it feels broken in already, like a pair of your favorite old boots. Congratulations to all involved with the project and I'm proud to have been a part of it.

What are we building next? :)
How bout these?

Just something I came up with during the winter.

I got a chance to ride the new Advanced trail, below the School House. It's a real hoot to ride and has some great flowing berms.....The recent rains are really packing the dirt down nicely.

The new trails are all completed. There isn't new signage yet, so here's a very unoffical, temporary map to get you around for now. The colors used are not physically marked on the trails in any way, shape, or form. I just thought this would help bikers visualize whats at Muscatatuck, because there have been major changes.

-The Green loop hugs the upper developed areas of the park. About half of the trail is all new in the last 2 years.

-The Blue trail is mostly the original trail with two new ravine shortcuts above the river. The longer ravine trails are still in place and show up as the black lines.

-The Red trail is 3/4 new construction. There are great downhill runs both directions.

It's not that big a park, so if you do get turned around it won't be long before you come to a landmark.....One last helpful hint; If you cross a big river and start seeing hunters, you're in Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area and need to head North pronto.

I’ve been doing some trail maintenance at the Tuck recently. Just tweaking to improve the flow and general riding experience. Removed a lot of roots, filled in some holes, and made rollovers on some huge uphill roots. ...Muscatatuck is usually a good bet for winter riding, when other trail systems are too muddy, due to the amount of rock in the soil. Happy riding!

Great to know it is more all-weather than other trails, I'll add it in to the list of places to go since I haven't been there in 5 or so years.
Good to have an option to gravel or not riding when it's more variable conditions.
I see it's on Trailforks, too.

Hey Guy, Thanks for your work there! It is such a gem of a place... fun, challenging, beautiful, but kind of under-utilized in my opinion. I don't think a lot of people think to ride there on a regular basis.
