The Outback Trail is getting ready for a new season.
January work has included invasive vine clearing and new trail cutting to address erosion issues.

We now have two trailheads The original West Trailhead in Imagination Glen Park and the eastone East off of County Rd. 149 by the Portage Soccer Fields. The Portage BMX park is at the corner you turn on. Donation boxes are at both trailheads along with trail status signs.
I'd rather be lucky than good!

Whats up fellas. We should definitely try to use this forum more. I am sure there are a lot of folks we are missing by staying strictly on FB.

I'll confirm the above statement.  Considering the lack of posts on here, I figured that maybe the trail didn't have anymore interest or that it had deteriorated.  Then I see this post, go to the FB page and see you guys are really doing some good work up there.  So I appreciate the post and now I'm really looking forward to riding the trail later on in the year.  Thanks.

WE are still at least 2 mos. away from any riding at The Glen. Spring Thaw coupled with the rain has most of our low ground completely underwater. Will post when trail dries up enough for at least high ground reversal.
I'd rather be lucky than good!

Saturday March 19th we will have a workday at The Outback Trail @Imagination Glen. We will meet at the east side trailhead off of Indiana State Road 149 by the soccer fields at 8:00 AM Check our website http://www.outbacktrail.org or our Facebook site http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=112161553134 for updates. On the task list for the day cut out some fallen trees and pin flag an alternate route between the basement and the trailer run.
I'd rather be lucky than good!
