Sounds like things are firming up short of rain and deep puddles.

We rode last night. Trail was yellow. Good in most places, a little sloppy in low lying areas.

The status of all BCSP trails keeps reverting back to this.  I've changed it a few times over the last week and each time a few minutes after 12:00 noon it's back.

Minor Issues  13 mins ago. Trails will be ok late morning, great by afternoon

North Tower Connect, North Tower Loop, Aynes, and Hesitation Point are green.  Just a few small puddles, otherwise dry.  Green Valley is mostly dry, but all the usual seeps are still sloppy so that's still yellow.

Any update on the trails from the folks out doing Hobbs Hollow work?  Looking for an estimate of how solid things will be by 2pm today to determine if I should go for a road ride instead.

Thanks!

Just got home.  Trails were pretty solid by this afternoon.  Will be great tomorrow.

Yellow, leaning towards green with puddles Friday morning. Will improve through the day until (if) it rains.

It rained. About an inch so far and looks like it will rain all night.

A coworker of mine is camping at the park this weekend.  A strong storm rolled through last night and there are lots of trees down in the camp grounds.  If the trails got the same winds, we may have a lot of trees to cut out.

I cleared trees and limbs on NT then went over to Limekiln and started from the campground end.  There were trees down everywhere in that area.  I only got as far as a point opposite the Stahl lake road before I ran out of light and fuel.  I stopped trying to move the debris off the trail.  Just sliced it and diced it and left it lay.

On NT, there are two raised root balls that will need to be dealt with.  One on the downhill section clockwise from the tower entrance could be a bit exciting if approached at high speed.

Given what I found on Limekiln, I would anticipate a significant clean up effort.

I tamed the root ball on the downhill section, any estimation on how bad and where the other is?

Here are some photos from Limekiln. It was hit pretty hard.

Lots of great work yesterday.

Only a few projects left to do from the storm clean up.  And the trails are starting to dry out.

When we left yesterday the seeps were still running.  Ed will be taking a look this afternoon and will report back.

The trails are still closed as we wait for the seeps to dry up.

Our volunteers put in huge effort over the last week and we need to give them a chance to recover by not creating work from riding too soon.

It looks good that the trails will open by Monday afternoon.
