trails are wet in the usual places on certain firelane sections; nothing that is going to do any damage.  Good conditions elsewhere.  One tree down on Twin Lakes behind the house. Lots of nuts everywhere make for interesting riding.

Trails are in good shape; a few of the usual wet spots but not bad considering we had over 2" of rain this past week.  Two trees down.  One on Foxy Hollow and one on Twin Lakes behind the house.

Warmer temperatures are always a temptation to ride; but remember freeze/thaw conditions this time of year.  Ride when frozen; not when thawed.

rode the full loop today after work.  pretty good conditions overall; wet in the usual spots; mostly firelane sections. a few trees down here and there; be aware.  a work session is planned for Saturday meeting at the firetower at 9:00 am ET

trail conditions are good(green); as of now; if more rain comes may need to make yellow.  the lake level on the Twin Lakes trail section has dropped so the trail is now passable.  A bit muddy for now; the property crew plans to put some gravel down to raise the trail bed for future high water events. Trails are getting a little overgrown in some sections.  anyone with the opportunity can sign the volunteer form at the forest office and use the property weed eater to do some maintenance.  it would be much appreciated.

after almost 6" of rain over the past several day; trails are of course quite wet.  They should be ridable by Tuesday without any additional rain and the grown up areas will be cut back before the Southern 5 race on Saturday the 27th.  hopefully there will be no more rains this week.

we got missed by the storms that hit much of the state on Monday; so trails should be ok to ride by Wednesday or Thursday; probably wet in the usual firelane sections but ok overall.

Any report on trail conditions? Dry by Saturday's DINO?
Never been there. What's the trail like?

Thanks

Really enjoyed the DINO race last weekend, but had a quick trail question. On the new single track section on the north end just past the firetower, we passed what looked like a rock formation with water seeping out of it. The opening in the rock almost seemed man made. Any idea what that was?

a natural rock formation with a spring emanating from it;  not man-made.  Trail conditions are good to great; the traffic from the race was good for the trails.  get out and ride before the next round of rains come through.
