2022 Trail Work
« on: February 28, 2022, 08:23:57 PM »
For 2022 we're going to have work sessions on the last weekend of the month starting March 26th and 27th.  They will cover all of Brown County and Yellowwood trails HMBA maintains.

March will be covering all the trails to open drains and note major issues with GPS and photos.

Start time will be 10 AM, and will meet at the same place every month (not decided on yet).
Tools will be supplied. Bring water, snacks, gloves, etc. that you will want or need.

More details to follow. Intent is to have a schedule for addressing bigger issues on the trails. Posts will be on Facebook at Brown County Mountain Biking and Brown County MTB rides, on here, and possibly MTB Project, TrailForks, and Instagram.

Bringing this up again.
Clearing drains will get the trails open sooner after rains.

Work weekend 28th and 29th.
10 AM at Hesitation Point parking lot.
We will be on Hesitation Point near the start where the trail crosses the vista.  Possibly farthr down doing repairs to the bridge that arches over a tree.

Sunday will be 10 AM at Hesitation Point, then likely moving to Walnut on the Hoosier's Nest cabin end. May move on to Lime Kiln east between the cabin end and where it crosses the road to Strahl lake.
