Hobbs Trail Work Days - May 18
« on: April 05, 2019, 12:21:53 PM »

Hobbs Hollow had a pretty rough winter. An overall wet winter and an historic rain event has the trail in dire need of repair. Come out for one or both days to get this epic trail back to a rideable condition.

If there's interest in camping, let us know so we can try and arrange something.

Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm

Work will be primarily focused on the first downhill, so we'll park at Hesitation Point.

A huge thanks to everyone one that came out to help get Hobbs back in shape.  We had 25+ volunteers!  Here we are cutting a back channel to get water off the trail and doing repairs due to a landslide.

Putting the finishing touches and repairs to the landslide area.

The volunteers hard at work!

May 18 (Saturday) 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  If you can't stay all day, it's find to come out for a few hours.  Or take a few hours out from your ride and stop by and help for a few hours.

Meet us at the Hesitation Point parking lot.

The ground is finally drying up enough so that we can work on Hobbs. We need a good turn out to get Hobbs open in time for Memorial Day Weekend. If you love riding Hobbs, please give some time to help get it open for the 2019 season.
