TRAILS CLOSED FOR RACE - THIS SUNDAY – SEPTEMBER 30
Hi everyone - wanted to let everyone know that Marian University Cycling will be hosting, as in past year, a collegiate mountain bike race weekend with racing at Southwestway on this Sunday, September 30.
Everyone is welcome to come out and watch/cheer on the collegiate riders but the trails will be CLOSED for riding/running/etc on race day - Sunday from 8am-3pm. We will be doing some trail marking and set up (tape, signs) on Saturday afternoon, but it should not inhibit riding. XC racing is scheduled for 9am through about 11:30am/12nn and then we will be using the DH trail for practice and race runs between 11:30am and 3.

We are also having STXC and 4x racing at the Indy Cycloplex (3649 Cold Spring Road) on Saturday 9am-2pm. There will be several schools from the region here to compete in preparation for collegiate MTB nationals later this month.
I have also posted this on the Facebook trail users group, and will post signs at the trailhead, but if anyone would advise other locations to share word about the closure, please let me know!
