Fort Harrison Trail Conditions 2018
« on: January 19, 2018, 07:47:32 AM »
Post here for trail conditions.

With the temps getting warm this weekend 1/20, please stay off the trails.  Hopefully we will get below freezing temps again soon so we can get out and ride.

This was the post from Saturday 3/3/18 on Facebook.  "I was just there 15 minutes ago. They are RED. They need at least 2-3 days of sun and air."

LC and SC are in near perfect condition- get out and ride before the next rain!
Great work fixing Snake Creek and all the other trouble spots last Fall. Thanks, Jason, Paul, Mike and all that put in that time. Can’t wait to get back to helping (and riding) now that my shoulder is healed.

Too many dogs, families, kids, and walkers on this trail today. Super dangerous, take it slow and easy if your out there.

With this only the most deaf will stay in your way.  All the pedestrians say the really like it.  It gives them plenty of warning, they don't get startled, and then they don't slow you down.

LC has numerous small greasy spots. IMHO, I’d give it another day before riding. It’ll be hero dirt w/no damage to the trail tomorrow night (provided forecast is accurate).

Schoen Creek is in great shape. If you ride tonite 8/9, please stick to SC (unless you’re volunteering to come out and repair the damage you do to Lawrence Creek on HMBA’s next Wednesday night trail work expedition!)
