Brown County Trail Work weekend: July 29th and 30th

Come join us for a Brown County Trail Build Weekend!
 
 Lets Build, Ride, Camp, Eat, Drink, Swim, and Celebrate being alive!
 
 This is an all weekend event, join us for all or part of it.
 
 Trail build
 Saturday 9am-12pm. Meet at Hesitation Point. We will be working on Walnut!
 and Sunday 9am-1pm. Meet at Hesitation Point. We will be working on Hobbs Hollow Flow!
 Tool and training provided.
 What to bring, work gloves, water, snacks.
 What to wear, good hiking boots, bug spray, sun screen.
 The work site is about a 1 mile hike into the woods, so wear boots that are good for hiking. The main project is hand bench cutting, but we may split off some volunteers for rock armoring or maintaince projects.
 
 Entrance to park
 Let entrance gate staff know you are at the park for a to voluteer for a trail build event, your admission is free!
 
 Camping
 Free for volunteers Friday and Saturday Night.  We are at Rally campsite 5, check in at the campground to get a pass for your car, head over to 5 to set up your tent!
 
 Food
 Bring a snack for yourself and/or to share, bring some beer to drink! *NOTE* There will be free lunch for the first 25 who RSVP for the Saturday event.
 
 Group ride
 Bring your bikes! Group ride after lunch on Saturday, lets all go explore and get to know each other!
 
 Pool entrance
 Free entrance to the BCSP pool for all trail build voluteers! Graciously donated by the park! (They love us!)
 
 Bring your Bikes, Beer, Food, Camping gear, Work cloths and whatever else you need to be comfortable.
 
 Please let us know if you have any question of if there is anything you would like to see included in future trail build events!
 
 Future summer trail build weekends, last weekend of each month
 July 29th and 30th
 August 26th and 27th
 Sept/Oct 30th and 1st
 
 Into the Winter, first weekend of each month
 (these dates are tentative and may change!)
 November 4th and 5th
 December 2nd and 3rd
 January 6th and 7th
 February 3rd and 3rd
 March 3rd and 4th
 April 7th and 8th
 
 Thank you Brown County State Park for providing free camping, gate entrance, and admission to the pool for volunteers!

Got some more of Hobbs Hollow done! 
For the machine built portion of the trail, HMBA was awarded a $50K Tourism grant which requires a $50K match.
