The route for the 2017 Epic is listed both on Bike Reg --
https://www.bikereg.com/brown-county-epic-mountain-bike-festival -- (scroll all the way to the bottom of the page) and on the MTB Project mobile app.
But --and someone correct me if I'm wrong about this-- the mobile app contains minimal directional arrows to tell you which trails to take in which direction. The directional arrows for the entire route are only on the map on Bike Reg (the hyperlink above), which can be downloaded and printed.
Also, the mobile app does not contain the location of the SAG stations, nor does it clearly show and have all of the names of the (usually abandoned) roads in the more remote areas. There will be signage along the way, but it is strongly recommended that you take both the paper map and a mobile device with the latest version of the Indiana trails on MTB Project. Note that the app doesn't update automatically. If you loaded it more than a week ago, then delete the Indiana trail list that is on your device now, then reload the Indiana trail list from the Areas section of the app. And do this when you are sure you still have cell coverage. Different carriers lose coverage throughout different parts of the trail system (and in some parts of the system all coverage is lost), but once the app is downloaded it uses GPS so you can see exactly where you are even if there is no cell coverage.
Finally, a question--I'm confused about what the paper map is trying to show for the outbound (red arrows) part of the Crooked Creek trails. It looks like it wants you to go part way down CC north, then up the short exit to Miller Ridge, then back down CCDT2 to CC north, and then down to the lake. Why the short little loop?
