Trail D
« on: June 04, 2017, 09:13:48 AM »
Trail D is "almost" completely impassible with downed trees starting just South of the connection with the Half Pipe section. Climbed through, over ,or around 8-10 before finally giving up and turning back. So heading down toward Nebo from the park or Yellowood via D won't happen until a lot of clean up happens.

Mahk, One of HMBA chainsawers, was out yesterday cutting on the State Forest part of Trail D yesterday.  He was just cutting and not clearing.  State Forest staff are coming in this week with equipment to clear the trees.

We are not allowed to saw on the Hoosier National Forest part of Trail D.  HNF staff knows it needs work, and we have a work session planned the weekend of June 17th and 18th to do tread work.  So hopefully they will get to it by then.

I received a report from a rider last night that he rode all through Trail D. It has been cleared.
