Paint repair
« on: February 27, 2017, 05:30:23 PM »
Any suggestions for what to do to repair a spot where the paint chipped off?  Its down to bare metal (aluminum) and is about 1/4 - 1/2 the size of a penny.  Or should I not even worry about it?

I've used model paints from hobby stores for touching up an older steel bike.  Lots of colors available and you can blend them if needed to get an exact match.  Nail polish also works and has a wide color selection.

For steel frames, I've just always used nailpolish.  Clear usually.  Just to keep the rust from having a place to start.

Hobby paint or nail polish.

Thanks!
