2017 SWW Trail Conditions and Issues

Report trail conditions or trail issues here (fallen trees, mudholes, etc). No more trail condition lights at the top of the page, but there is a link to MTB Project on the new updated HMBA homepage where you can see a similar tool for SWW Park.

Trails were soft yesterday, and due to overnight rain they will be too muddy today. Not sure about rest of the week but it doesn't look good.

I attempted to add a link to the top of the forums to point to the new trail status page. The forums are picky about additional code so I will post to all the trail groups instead and focus on improving the Trails Overview page until I find a good method of modifying the forums template.
 
In the meantime the HMBA trail status information is now here. http://www.hmba.org/trails-overview/

Update trail conditions to yellow due to possible freeze thaw issues. May be OK mostly. Need eyes on the ground.

I heard it was "snotty" on Lenape and pretty good on the south end earlier this morning. I'm going to ride now and will post an update tonight.

Sunday was awesome! yesterday and today, not so much. Today not sure, it may be OK late in the afternoon. Trail status currently at RED. The trails still need more time to dry in this weather than in summer months. Once the plant life comes out of dormancy and they start leafing out, then water will get pulled out of the ground faster.

I was able to do about 45 minutes of trail maintenance tonight cutting back some of the early growth along the gravel path by lenape.
