Does anyone know how much longer they'll be logging Miller Ridge (and/or that area)?

I haven't heard any specific dates for completion. The official release said the area is closed "until further notice".
A lot will depend on the weather and how often the loggers can work but trails are usually closed for several weeks during a timber harvest.

Here is the info on the trail closures for logging:

Upcoming Timber Harvest: Sections of Crooked Creek and Miller Ridge will be temporally closed starting on Monday Nov 14th.
Southern Section of Miller Ridge (from Lower Handicap parking lot to intersection with Trail D).
Southern Section of Crooked Creek Trail (commonly referred to as the Hoosier Half Pipe). Please note that the section of Miller Ridge from the Upper Handicap Lot to Trail D is open.  Please watch out for logging equipment on this section!
State Forests are mandated by our State Legislator to manage the resources, including timber, on our State Forest Properties. If we want to have access to State Forest land for recreational trails, we must be respectful of logging operations.  It is important to long term mountain bike access for the mountain bike community to obey any trail closed signage.

So about 2 months from Nov 14, cool thanks.
I ran into some loggers Sunday out on Miller rdg. They were cool/nice, and asked me to turn back around. I did without hassle.

The timber harvest is complete.  Miller Ridge is now  <edit> reopened.  It may be rough due to the use for the timber harvest.  We will assessing its condition and working to address any problems.
