I rode all of Yellowwood yesterday. The major storms have been a week or so ago now and there's very little sign of them there. There is a tree down at the miller/Hoosier Half Pipe entrance that you have to climb through to get onto the half pipe.
1 tree down on Lucas, I don't fully remember where. It's on the single track side, not the fire road side (west?) I think in the switchback section. Looks like people have routed around it.
The rocks were damp and like litte ice glaciers. Slick as snot!
JFR!

Couple of big trees down on crooked creek;  from 10 oclock line starting point and heading down to lake, first tree is near the beginning of the biggest climb on the trail and it's a large trunk about 4 feet up off the ground going across the trail.  Second is towards the bottom, probably 3/4 of the way down the trail and is a crown that's crashed across the trail.  it's a big mess and I didn't see anything I could move out of the way by hand last night.

On lucas hollow there is a big trunk lying across a switch back when you start climbing out if you are going clockwise (dropping in at first entrance).

I collected many of the signs in the Crooked Creek area tonight, including the signs and stakes along the road. I did not get anything that might be on CC Trail, Bartley or Lucas.

Can we instruct future sign hangers to not wrap tape around trees, trail markers, bridge frames, etc.? It is excessive and a pain to remove and pack out. A small loop on the back of the sign is plenty.

There is a new tree down on Crooked creek.  Its about an 1/8 mile from the start at the lake.  The main tree can stay and will make a nice log over, but it has a smaller tree pinned down that requires a dismount.  A small hand saw could cut out the small tree.
