anyone out there that would consider doing a few lessons to get a newbie off on the right start?  use 96th street trail as the place for teaching.  maybe like a hourly rate.  thanks in advance.

If it were summer, I'd love to help you out, but it's busy season for me. Be sure to check out youtube. Some great vids on there, esp. the Global Mountain Bike Network crew. Check em out.

I agree with videos from Global Mountain Bike Network on YouTube, GMBN.
I have learned and progressed a lot in a year just by watching their videos and trying.
