IDNR Trail Permits for 2015 Trail Volunteers
« on: December 31, 2015, 06:07:20 PM »
HMBA wants to thank our volunteers from 2015 and we do not want our trail volunteers to have to pay to ride the trails they build.  If you put in 20 trail volunteer hours in 2015, HMBA will provide you a 2016 IDNR off-road permit.

I will be working with our trail leaders to coordinate getting the permits out to our volunteers, so please stay tuned for details.

If you are asked as the Park, let them know that you are a volunteer and that you will get your permit soon.

If you already purchased a permit, we will reimburse you for the permit.

Thanks to all our volunteers, who have built and maintain some of the best trails in the country.
HMBA: Director of Trail Development / Secretary

That's very generous!  Thanks to Paul, Tammy, and the rest of the HMBA Board for coming up with this idea.

I have a few volunteer sign-in sheets from December that I'll scan and email to you ASAP so all hours are counted.

I forgot to get the sign-in sheets I have accumulated turned in, too.
I will get them emailed Friday.

I have sign-in sheets from 2015. I'll look over them for 20 hour workers.

Good deal.  I tried to 'guilt trip' the guy on the gate into not charging me.  He didn't buy it.  He was under the impression that 'the bike guys' had asked for the new fee and the money was to be used for new trails.  I tried to set him straight, but I'm not sure it registered.

Will multiple sheets be checked for those of us that worked at various locations throughout the year (Crooked Creek & VSP for me besides SWW)?
