Bald Eagle sighting
« on: November 27, 2015, 08:35:53 AM »
Ran WW yesterday morning and saw a bald eagle just past where the horse trail and mountain bike trail separate at about 1.5 miles along where the houses are. I  think there  might have been 2 something took off and caught my eye had some white on it so I stopped to see if there was others and he was just sitting in the tree along the lake. He was less than 100 feet away got a really good look at him.

There are actually 3 Bald Eagles that frequent the park.  Two adults, iconic white heads and tails, and a juvenile, still all brown.  I've been seeing them a lot this year while I've been out there.  The adults are huge and there is no mistaking them when you see them.
