So I have never had a light for night riding and want to get one to use mainly at the Fort since the sun goes down well before closing time.
What lights and how many lumens do you typically need?
I am wanting to go with a handlebar and helmet light.

I have Magic Shine 1200 lumens on the bars thatMis about equal to my car headlight.  The lithium Ion battery is good for at least 2 hours on high.  Love this light.  Then I have a Dinottee brand I put in the helmet, maybe 500 lumens.  Uses regular AA batteries.  You could definitely get by with less lumens but LED lights have really come done in price so might as well go big.
