Fat bike rental near brown county??
« on: September 02, 2015, 10:44:54 PM »
Coming back to visit family and friends this long weekend. Hoping for an easy ride around the park (co workers have been slacking on their riding lol).....

Anyone know of fat bike rentals? If not I'll rent a skinny tire from Hesitation point shop in Nashville, but would prefer a fatty
Fat is where it's at!......Tires that is.
Moved to Idaho....:) Now I actually *mountain* bike.

What's the matter Shark, afraid you can't ride a real (skinny tires) mtn bike any more?!  Don't worry, we havn't added rocks the size of houses like you have out there! The RIP is available if you can't find a fatty

Hesitation Bike Shop-just outside the BCSP entrance (to the west). Great shop! http://www.hesitationpoint.com/

I think Hesitation Point has a 29+ to rent out. That would get you part way to a fat bike.

Quincy operates his bike business out of Explore Brown County.  His fat bikes are Origin 8 fatbikes with NuVinci rear hubs. Super nice guy.  I don't think Tad at Hesitation has any fat bikes for rent.

Rental a couple regular MTBs for my buddies, and a Ros9 29er+ for myself.
First time I rode a 1x11, nice but I won't be spending the $$ for that fancy cassette any time soon.

Was a totally different ride vs my bucksaw.

We did nebo, great as always.

Back to Idaho for me.... Enjoy your humidity!
