Rode Rangeline today, epic trail

Road Rangeline today, epic trail.
Very challenging and technical.

No wet spots except for the creek crossing. (Which was nicely brick armored. Kudos)

Did 3 laps with a buddy and the trail is in perfect conditions as of 4PM EST 1 April.

Rode rangeline today for the 4 th time this year. What a great and challenging trail system they have built in Anderson. Can't figure out why more people don't take advantage of it. All 4 times I had the entire trail to myself. And it seems to be the fastest drying trail in the state. If you want to ride you go to where the trails are rideable. I will be back in the morning for sure. If you Havnt been here yet it is well worth the drive and it is a solid Green. So come on out and enjoy and challenge yourself.

Okay, you have talked me into it. May head up today. Suggestions for how to ride in the park? I understand there are three loops? I normally ride Brown County, Fort Harrison, and Southwestway... Tips appreciated!

Rode Rangeline today and it was great.  Fun time and trails were in very good condition.  The skills obstacles are great too.  Fun place to ride!

Go for it! Take all of the black loops when you get to them. I have to walk or take optional bypasses on some of the features but the black loops add sooo much more to the trail.

Got up there tonight with my son and rode the combination of the intermediate and advanced trails. Fun place! Some of those drops or no joke, though, are they? Got a nice reminder of that on my shin right now...  :-\

Good place to develop your skills for sure. Had a blast. My son, who is almost 15, noted that whoever designed the trails is a "genius," so props to the trail designers for making a very fun system right in the middle of town.

Willyjaybob very glad to here you and your son had a good time at rangeline. It's a hidden treasure well worth the 40 minute drive for me. Come out to the next work day and you can meet the men responsible for the layout and the building of this awesome trail system. Hope to see you out there sometime.

Is the trail really red now? The weather stations over there are only showing a trace of rain yesterday.

EDIT: I see it's yellow now.  Does the novice/intermediate trail tend to hold water or get muddy?  I'm going to bring my wife over to ride and hope it will be fairly dry on those trails.

Glad you enjoy the trail system.  The Novice (green arrows) dries the quickest because it was built on the higher elevatIon in the park.  Plus, a lot of time has been spent on draining the areas that used to hold water.

If you wait for good weather to ride in Indiana you will be waiting forever.
