I cleared the small limbs, brush, and vines off of the tree this afternoon....if someone had a chainsaw it'll take literally 2 minutes to clear the trail. I'll clear it tomorrow evening if it hasn't been done by then.
Thanks for clearing what you could.  I am certified and I plan on riding tomorrow around 12:30 so I'll take care of the rest of it.

First trip to Southwestway today after picking up a new fat bike. Loved the flow overall and especially the big climb/downhill flow by the parking lot. Thanks to all that keep it up, great ride!

Tree down on Lenape trail, see facebook post https://www.facebook.com/groups/204530125309/permalink/10153627983775310/?comment_id=10153628293100310&reply_comment_id=10153628366495310&notif_t=group_comment_reply
I can cut it out tomorrow or try to make it a permanent feature tomorrow around 12:30 unless anyone opposes.

Log is gone, no way to make it a sustainable feature with the steepness of the slope and the bench cut trail, plus the log was rotting out and split from the fall.

They were getting pretty soft when we finished around 10:30 this morning, and in places where there are leaves on the trails the leaves were REALLY slick.  Some roots/logover's were slick as well.  I think it got just cold enough overnight to freeze, then they were starting to thaw and coupled with the fog/moisture in the air it was turning soft quickly.

Most of the Mann Hill trails were pretty firm, but down along the river on the inbound from the Roller Coaster Ridge were the most slippery.

It is really hard to predict conditions with the lite freezes.  If it freezes, get our early and bail as it thaws or wait till late in the day.

I know it's hard to predict, but is there any chance trails will be rideable at all tomorrow?

Hit SWW for a couple hours around 4 today and the trails were in great condition!

Alex has been hard at work on new machine bench cutting between the power lines and river and make sure to take a look at the future trail down the power lines from Mann Hill.  Get your jumping skills ready to send it!

We got a report from the ground yesterday afternoon.  This time of year the trails will be in better shape later in the day, so I would suggest riding in the afternoon for best conditions.
