Has HMBA taken an official stance on the Mounds Lake Project? This reservoir would submerge the entire park.

This thread discussed it last year. Not sure if there is any recent info.

HMBA has not taken an official position on the Mounds Lake Proposal.

I am not sure if we will make a formal statement or not.  Rangeline is not an HMBA trail so we will likely allow the Rangeline Crew to determine the best strategy.

One big hurdle for the project is that it would have to flood a Nature Preserve in Mounds State Park.  This would most likely have to go in front of the Indian Natural Resource Commission and we would likely weigh in at that point.
