Work Day 11/15
« on: November 05, 2014, 09:08:47 PM »
We'll be holding our last official workday of the year on Saturday, 11/15 from Noon to 3:00. Come help us reconnect the trails that were interrupted by the I-69 tree removal.

In light of the weather forecast, we decided to move this weekend's work day from Sunday to Saturday.  Sunny and 40 beats snowy and 30s any day.

We'll still be working from Noon to 3:00.  Hope to see you there!

Come on out and dig in the dirt with us this afternoon! I've got about 600 ft of corridor cleared and ready for benching. The work site is along the highway in the southwest corner of the park (between the sinkholes and the new property line). The more volunteers we get, the more dirt we can move; the more dirt we can move, the bigger we can build.

I'll be at the work site with tools and gloves for those who need them. Bring a bike and ride in. Climbing the cedar-cribbed switchbacks is the shortest route. (Please don't try to park on the south side and walk in thru the Hoosier Energy construction site.)

See you there!

I'll be in the parking lot at 11:30 and start riding over to the work site around 11:45 if anyone wants to join.

Allen, do you think you could chalk/flour the route for latecomers?
