BCSP Trail Weekend May 2-4th

Its time to build some new trails at BCSP.

We have Rally 5 this weekend (Friday -Sunday).

There will be two work session on Saturday

Early Bird Session: 9:00AM (meet at the Service area just South of Hoosier's Nest) We will be moving materials for the work day.

Main work Session: Noon the pull off just North of the Triangle (see map below). Tammy will be managing the work session so look for her at the HMBA tent.  Parking is limited here.  If you camp, please consider car pooling or riding to the work site. If we run out of parking spots, Tammy will provide directions for additional parking.



Saturday evening there will be group rides from Rally 5 and then camp fires and socializing in the evening.

Sunday at 10:00AM we will have a trail maintenance class. Alex and I have built trails around the state and when you build a trail you have to maintain it.  We have lots of experience dealing with regular and advanced trail maintenance issues.  We will meet at the Service Area (just South of the Hoosier's Nest) and working on Limekiln. 

Its time to start getting excited about the next wave of trails at Brown County State Park!

What a great weekend to be at Brown County State Park.


While Friday was a bit cold and cloudy, we woke up this on Saturday





We have about 15 campers between the Rally site and those who wanted electric from the regular camp sites.


On Saturday Morning we moved some materials into place and then at noon about 25 volunteers headed into the deep ravine below Aynes and we build some more great single track.

Thanks to all who came out.  We will have another big work weekend the Weekend of June 6th-8th.  This is the weekend of the Midwest Women's mountain bike clinic.  Sub 9 has the whole rally camp reserved and we will be camping with them.  So this will be a huge weekend to be at Brown County.[/size]
