Trail Building Weekend July 11th-13th
« on: July 01, 2014, 12:50:00 PM »
We have another big Trail building weekend planned for Brown County State Park the weekend of July 11th-13th.

On Friday (July 11th) we have a group from Cummins doing trail work at noon.  Cummins is funding some rocks for the entrance to the HP Bowl Trail and will be working with Alex on the switch back entrance as well as benching in some new trail.  We can use some experienced trail builders to support the work session.

On Saturday (July 12th) we will continue work building the HP Bowl Trail.  The early work session will start at 9:00AM and the afternoon work session will start at 12:00PM. At 3:30 PM will will be doing a test ride of the new trails, so please bring your bikes.

Sunday's (July 13th) work session will also be working on HP Bowl at 10:00AM.

All the work sessions will meet at the scenic overlook just South of the Aynes House.

We have Rally 4 for camping Friday night through Sunday.

Alex Stewart is mobilizing his equipment for Friday and Saturday at BCSP.  He will be working on the switch back entrance to HP Bowl.

If your interested in working with alex on a rock/switch back project, here is your chance.  We will also have crews bench cutting deep in the woods.

We could used a work day coordinator.  If anyone is interested in hanging out at the over look and signing up workers and directing late comers to the work sites, please let me know.

Thanks,

Paul
