Here is the technique I like to use for jumping bigger logs.

I have been using that one a lot this year.  I just wasn't going fast enough on most of Bobcat Bowl this time around.  I really ought to set up some stuff in my yard to work on some of those techniques.  I think that'll be especially important in a month or so when my new bike is finished, as it will be enormously different than my current bike and I will be needing to brush up on lots of techniques.

First time down Bobcat Bowl last weekend--absolutely loved it! Also gorgeous in the fall...can't believe it had been 3 years since I was there last. Enjoy:

Thanks for the footage JD !
What kind of bike do you have?
It's a Sledgehammer.
Dang! You got shocks, pegs ...lucky!
You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

Great job making such a beautiful trail.  Challenging but clearable, love it.  Aesthetically it is a tremendous ride though you can't look up too much with such big penalties for failure..  Rode with a cool dude named Scott.  Plan to clear it all next time  ;)

Rode Bobcat for the first time yesterday ... WOW awesome trail! The trail dead ended, when are plans to finish?  This trail has some extreme trail building features, the double switchback is amazing! Noted riding it back was easier than out as switchbacks had friendlier turn radius. Kudos to the trail builders!

The bigger push will likely be with the Cummins work days like last year. There is some work being done now, but nothing like a big weekend for now to my knowledge.
Once we get a few more fixes done on the older trails we will try for some weekday work sessions on the Bobcat trails. Maybe a weekend session split with Yellowwood, too.

A lot of it after the first fire road crossing to the dead end needs finish work and adjustments. The Bobcat connector needs some work nearer to Aynes, and some anchoring where folks seem to not know where the trail is supposed to be.
