Biker Down
« on: April 09, 2014, 10:34:54 PM »
My good Friend Zach, an avid biker and fellow mountain biker had very serious accident this weekend while he was on one of his bikes. You may have ran into him on one of the many trails around town.
Sometimes even despite all the safety perceptions we wear bad things can still happen.  He suffered multiple breaks in his neck and back, as well most of his chest/shoulder bones.  He also has spinal cord damage and is currently paralyzed from the chest down.
His family is using this link to raise funds to help with the many medical expenses they will be experiencing. http://www.gofundme.com/85xdx0
Please keep him in your thoughts a prayers if you can.
Thanks you.

That link doesn't work (don't have facebook), do you have a direct link?

Hope for a good recovery for your buddy, that sounds horrible. Any update on how he is doing?

try copying and pasting that link.

He is now currently at home and adjusting to his new lifestyle.   The result of his accident is permanently paralyzed, from the chest down.  Sold all his bikes and motorcycle, and getting his car adjusted for hand controls.

He hopes to be able to return to work before the end of the year.
