I went last year about this time of year and it was totally awsome!
Two great home cooked meals included each day in the price (Breafast and Dinner).
Once you park... you do not need to get in your car until you leave.
They also have a shuttle car that can take you to the top if you feel like skipping the climb.
The riding was awsome also... well maintained single track with great elevation,  similar to Brown County trail flow but on a much larger scale.
I highly recommend it and will go back.

Sounds like it's worth the trip and I might have to start making plans ... thanks for the input.

Yeah - I was there in mid-July.   The staff is awesome and the location is fantastic.   Don't get me started on the food!   :)

As Phil mentioned, there are trailheads accessible from the place itself or you can do shuttle (this summer it was them driving your car back from wherever you dropped off), and Fort Mountain State Park is just up the road.    It has some interesting trails as well.

I camped in a tent, but their cabins are nice and clean - a bed and heat/cool.    Even the bathhouses were well above average.

I'm looking forward to when I can get back there.

A group of girls from Alabama does a weekend retreat there yearly and they speak very highly of it.

I haven't stayed there myself, but I'll put in a plug for the riding. Pinhoti is awesome. Watch out for bears and have a blast!

Was one of the 5 who went w/RJ. Let me start by saying the resort and staff are TOP notch as mentioned by others, the food is phenomenal and the cabins are nice. However unless your idea of awesome riding is climbing gravel roads for somewhat okay singletrack the riding is average at best. I waited to comment knowing I was going to a few other places in the SE. Now that I went elsewhere (see Coldwater, FATS, Tsali review), I would suggest looking around for other riding options. Not trying to hurt Mulberry Gap at all, like I said great food, convenient and mountainous. Just way better options in the region IMO. I am very glad to have experienced this place though, ALL mountain biking is FUN. Some more than others!
