I'm finalizing the event application now which I will run past the HMBA higher ups and then submit to Parks. Anyone have suggestions for the best days of the week? My weeks are so busy that Fridays actually work best, but I'd like to hear other suggestions.

Wednesday nights would work best for me also, but that's not to say any other day WOULDN'T work.  As long as I have enough notice to work out the schedule of who gets the kids, I'm good to go.

Maybe follow the nights surrounding the full moons.  I'm all for the weekend nights, but really any day of the week will work since we shouldn't be locked into riding immediately after dusk.

Given that Saturdays and Sundays, trail conditions permitting, are good options for a lot of folks during daylight hours, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays seem to be the most logic days to consider for night riding, IMO.

I like the "hump day" idea, myself. Especially after seeing the hump day camel commercial.  "Hump daaaaaaaay!"  :D
