Its amazing what a little maintenance will do
« on: August 21, 2013, 01:30:54 PM »
I just got my Rumblefish back from the Bicycle Station. I tend to pay attention to my race bike (Superfly 100) and just ride and abuse my Rumblefish.  I just had the fork rebuilt, headset repacked, new chain, brake pads, rear wheel trued, new rear shock bushings.
If you have ridden the heck out of your bike all spring and summer, you may want to freshen it up at bit.  I didnt realize how bad it was riding until I got it back. Night and Day.

Currently my stumpy is out with a blown seal in the fork.  :'(. It's my ride of choice. And my poor Raleigh talus 29 is in need desperate need of a new drive train and fork. I had the hard tail in at Mathews for a bent derailer hanger from a crash on the LC down hill and Steve said he's done the best he can with what he had to work with. Which means its fubard and needs some major tlc and updating.
Tubes we don't need no stinking tubes!!
