Big tree down on the Shelly climb.  It's just one main trunk resting on the trail, but it's close to 2 foot in diameter so more than one person may be needed.

Limekiln Reflector you ask? Someone built a sign out of broken reflectors that spells Limekiln and placed it just past where the large tulip tree was down.  We stopped to work on a bermed/seep area and when we were done, noticed it hanging there.  Not sure how long it's been there, but I've never noticed it until the other day.

While we are asking, what's the "Shelly climb"?

Check it out.  Note, this is now a two way trail.

So it's what was the "second climb" of Hobbs and the shortcut to HP.

Did I miss the notice here on the forums of the 2 way change and renaming?

Shelly is after Flow 2.  Shelly includes the short cut (fire road) back to HP.

I've not noticed it either, but now I'm curious.  I'll keep an eye out next time I'm in that area.

Tower Connect, North Tower, Anyes, and Green Valley are dry after Tuesday's rain and in great shape. Pine Bog (formally Pine Loop) has a lot of rim deep soft spots that are rapidly growing as riders churn through them.

We will close the gates and give it time to dry out.  Thanks for letting me know. I typically park higher up and don't always see Pie when I am down there.  Too much trail to ride it all in one day.

I cleared an oak off of Walnut, between the doubled log-over and the older, notched log-over.

Come help with the Trail Build this weekend at Crooked Creek!

Left Pine Loop closed. Tree down on North gate just out of the north lot. Can use a chainsaw.

Jeff and I cut most of the tree on North Gate last night using a couple of  handsaws.  What's left is rideable, and needs a chainsaw to clear it completely.

3 way intersection of NT connector and Pine near the bathroom is a at least a foot diameter dead tree that fell but is leaning on another tree.  Little dangerous especially considering the number of people that cross this area daily.

Schooner had numerous trees down in all different sizes couple nights ago, I know it's not used a lot but those were impassible without climbing over or around

Cleared two and left one on Bobcat yesterday evening.  The one I left is an oak, bigger than I want to cut with a handsaw, small enough to ride over and......it's Bobcat.
