Is Hobbs Hollow completed and officially open?
Not yet.  Plans are to have it open just before the Brown County Epic.

Reminder we are still need additional funds to pay for this project.  The project is funded through a $50,000 Indiana Tourism Destination Grant, which HMBA must match with an additional $50,000.  HMBA has already raised $26,000 and is still fund raising to fully fund the project.  Please help by donating to the HMBA Trail Fund.  Lets support Hobbs Hollow Flow Trail!

I'm hoping there are plans to install one-way signage at the Hobbs exit soon.  I met a rider going the wrong way on it today.  He had no idea what the trail was, but saw a new trail at the GV intersection and started following it (backwards).

I passed a few riders and a pair of runners this week going up Hobbs also.

Not sure which Hobbs Hollow thread to put this on so it is going here.

Dips between jumps may need some armoring.  Hit a mud hole pretty deep to the axles which is quite a bit of a quick slow down at speed but was able to keep rubber side down.

Ruts in those dips that have dried out are pretty bad as well so manual that front wheel to stay on line.

Trail work session on Hobbs Hollow: May 5, 2018.
A number of drainages on the trail have developed ruts that, if not repaired could catch a wheel. This must be repaired asap. Hobbs will be closed Saturday morning, until repairs can be made. If you like riding Hobbs, please give back some time to help keep it dialed in.

Meet at Hesitation Point at 9:00 a.m.  If you arrive late, just hike down to the work site.

Trail work on Hobbs this weekend. We'll have a Saturday and Sunday work day, 3/13 and 3/14 10am-4pm. Pop in and help, even if just for a few hours! We'll be focused on the first downhill.

Hope we'll see you there!
