My elevation data comes from the barometric altimeter built into the Garmin Etrex Vista and calibrated to the French Lick airport barometric pressure just before I rode those sections.

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the numbers because every program uses a different way to tie the elvation into their programs.

I posted the charts directly from Garmin Basecamp just to show the elevation profile.

Bentcrank you have me curious to see what my total ascent and descent are on these profiles. I'll check when I get home.

Metrology has nothing to do with  weather.

I rode the Green with the GPS and at the end of the ride my GPS showed total ascent of 388 feet, but when I downloaded it to Basecamp the total ascent reported was 514. I would think that the Strava app is correct. Apparently the difference is in how the program interprets the data?

The elevation profile is the same as what I posted earlier.
