UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

We were unable to acquire the requisite number of puppies to award to all finishers this year.  Fear not however as we have ample prizes for the fastest finishers.

To the first person back to the finish we have a syphilitic goat that needs a good home.  We also have four chickens that Tyson Foods deemed "unworthy for human consumption" but I am sure they will make damn fine pets.

There will also be a raffle of Paul Arlinghaus' truck.  So if you win go ahead and climb in that truck and drive away.  I would suggest honing your hot-wiring skills and do not dawdle behind the wheel.  Jump in, get it running and drive like hell.  I will keep Paul distracted for a few minutes to aid in your getaway.  When you get home please be prompt in changing the license plate and then sit back and bask in the glow of a job well done . . . and a "new" truck.

Will the route be the same as last year, therefore we could use the 2011 map located in MapMyRide?

Thanks,
Lee

Other than a few small modifications out of Bloomington the ride is the same as 2011.  We will have cue sheet to distribute the morning of.

Man, that was brutal.  I knew exactly how hard it would be and I still was surprised.

Here is proof that the ride happened.

Great ride again this year.  Thanks to all who help put this ride together.  Thanks to Revolution Bike & Bean for the lunch stop.  The hamburgers where good.  And a special thanks to the SAG workers who were all very friendly and helpful.  This ride will be on my calender again in 2013.

THANKS HMBA!
