The swag for Duffield is off the charts with big thanks to ProGold Bikes VO2 Multisport Outlet SRAM and many more. Also this year all riders in every class will have a shot at several KOM prem's At the start of each wave riders will have a KOM bonus for being the first to reach the start summit. Waiting at the top one of our fine KPS volunteers will be holding a miniature bottle of bourbon (plastic airplane size) grab the bottle stuff it in your jersey, present it at the finish and you will be able to choose one of many fine bottles of Kentucky's Finest Bourbon, Jim Beam. But ya gotta grab that little bottle if you want the big one.

What is the difference in the Black Flag or the Charger? It looks just like rims to me.

Does anyone have any experience with the Cross ride disc 29?

Would one of the Sun Ringle Black Flag wheel sets (comp or expert) be better?

Last year 600 dirt, 6,400 road for 7,000.  Most of the road is commuting to work daily.
This year so far I just hit 2,000 today, all but 100 on the road to work unfortunately. Not enough dirt, but with a 4th kid on the way it is hard to get  out on the weekends unless it is a race.

Maybe if you rode more you would not have that problem.... :-D

Not enough last year, but fairly happy with the start of this year with right at 470 miles.

I hope the new Edge 500 helps me keep better track of the year. Had some issues with computers before so it made hard to keep track.

Nice loop!

I don't think that will work on any garmin. I believe it would have to be one with the maps right? I do not see how my Edge 500 would be any help with this kind of file.

I wish I could get down to 170.

Dave, Fitnesspal does nothing for me except tell me I am eating too much. LOL

I think MikeVK is on to something. You have to keep putting in when you are taking it out.

It started out as a web site and bmx team that I ran. Then the name just stuck, so I use it lots of places.

Find a Ride / Anyone from South Bend?
« on: March 13, 2013, 11:25:53 AM »
I will be in South Bend next weekend and would like to try and squeeze a ride in. I figure the trails are too far away for my time slot. Does anyone know any group road rides that head out Sunday morning? Or have any other suggestions?

Seems like everyone is having that issue. I hope I didn't vote for the wrong trail

Ok. thanks. I have an 05. I will look at it Friday and decide.

I have crossed the creek in Pisgah to get to the Cove Creek campground several times. I was more worried about the bank by what she said.
