So, dumb question here, how much will it cost to enter Sunday for the DINO race? Sounds like way more than the $7 for a one time ride? I don't make it down enough right now with little ones for a year pass so is there an extra daily fee?

Anybody have the chance to talk to the new park management? I haven't so didn't know if they plan to weed eat the trails or if they will allow us to like previous groups. They are in desperate need in some places.

Trails were completely dry today. Different story with the trees...several down but the park was already working on cutting some out this afternoon.

I am posting for a friend. He has a 2015 Scott Scale RC carbon fiber MTN Bike for sale. Medium Frame, 27.5 inch wheels. Black frame with yellow lettering. If you want more info or picks you can email him at nlucas824@yahoo.com. $3,800 OBO Elite level bike. I do know it has only been ridden a couple of times and he just doesn't have the time right now to ride so he doesn't want it just sitting in the garage collecting dust. Bob

NICA did respond to me yesterday and gave me all the details. I am going to start going over them today and see where we need to start to get approval from them. It is a lengthy process so I will begin now and put a presentation together for us and meet sometime during Fall Break in a few weeks. I agree with you it is time and I am in a little better position to make it happen now! The two week Fall Break will be a time that I plan to get a lot of the initial work done as I am off during that entire time. For all I will post info here but I did create a Facebook and Twitter page yesterday for all to follow as well to get the news out. Facebook: Indiana High/Middle School MTB League. Over the years I have communicated a little with NICA and thought about grassroots leagues as well. With being a Principal and knowing many others who happen to be Leaders at some of our schools close to some of our trails in the state I feel I will be able to reach out to them and get this ball rolling. I have had some of you over the years contact me as my name was on the list on NICA and it seemed like we had yet another baby in the house and time was short. With the youngest of four turning two this weekend it is finally getting a little easier again. PM me if you are interested in a Fall HS/MS league for our kids as it is time to give them this option in our state with all the great trails being built by HMBA and others. If anyone knows of a school with a program already please let me know so I can reach out to them. Right now my school is the only one I know of. Over the next week I will be developing some avenues on social media to get the word out as well and will share those here with everyone. Thanks in advance! Bob Temporary HS MTN Bike League Coordinator LOL
