Check out this video of the Pump Track/Kids Track built by Alex Fowler! The track is open, pending muddy conditions (currently RED so NOT open... bummer). Alex will be out one more time before the Grand Opening to seal the track to help prevent erosion and weathering. Suh-Weet!!!

In addition to Alex working on the Pump Track, we will also be finishing up the last of the jump lines (the 6' Intermediate and Expert lines!), the Dual Slalom, and some additional trail work and installation of riding features.

Each day we will try to hold a group ride in the evening and Saturday, Sept. 10th at 6:00 pm we will open the Lake Jump!!

Come work with us!! Come ride with us!!

Thanks for the quick review! I trust William was able to show you the majority of what is in place now. We can't wait to get more trails completed along with additional riding features and some polishing! Please continue to spread the word and come to our Grand Opening!

Still GREEN today. Just enough rain to keep down the dust.

Trails are GREEN! Go ride! Just watch for the excavator out pushing the perimeter trail through to the North.

Trails are YELLOW as of 10 am. Please be careful out there and avoid making ruts. We are working hard to be prepared for Grand Opening!

Yes, old Strip Mines are the reason for all the lakes in the area, as well as the topography, thanks Holzhaus!

Allmountin we are stoked you made it out to ride and appreciate the feedback! 120' for the lake is quite an exaggeration... the end of the lake jump is around 20' according to the divers who scouted it for us and cleared any potential debris. Still deep though!

From your description of the expert rated loop you are probably correct and found the Zulu trail. It is still in progress and needs groomed and some features added. The entrance will soon have a sweet over-under bridge that is going to be sick.

Unfortunately yes, our signage is lacking but in the works. The Parks department is in the midst of revamping ALL their signage and want ours to match... so our hands have been tied. It will be up by Grand Opening. I would encourage you to check out the maps on Trailforks and/or MTBproject, which are kept current and up-to-date.

Definitely worth the drive! This last weekend we installed 3 more 4' jump ramps in the Landing Zone! Sweet and smooth! Also working hard to complete the Perimeter Loop in the Northern section of the property. Come Ride!! (once we dry out!)

RED. We have been soaked like most of Indiana. Please take to the roads until we dry!

I'll add that the Trailforks app/site at the moment has the most accurate and comprehensive maps for Griffin Bike Park.

That is correct, thanks to our Friend William Ganis! Here is the link to Trailforks, which is the most complete: http://www.trailforks.com/region/griffin-bike-park/?lat=39.33980441009113&lon=-87.3583191633225&z=15&m=trailforks

MTBProject also has the same maps but not quite as descriptive: https://www.mtbproject.com/directory/8012581

If it is on the map, it is open to ride! As mentioned below, there may be areas that are being "polished" or having features added, so please be aware.

Go ride! (When the trails dry!!)

For the most part, yes. There may be some portions that are not exactly 100% and may need polishing, but overall rideable. Keep an eye out for yellow caution tape for any portions that may be under construction or have features being added. Go ride!
