Brown County State Park / The "Downhill Experience"

I want to take a family member to BC and have him ride downhill from the campground. He has a single speed bike.

Can you recommend a route that results in the least amount of uphill pedaling while maximizing the fun? I have a copy of the Sub-9 trail map, using its trail descriptions would be helpful.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Noticed on Sunday April 12, a large tree fall near the end of expert 3. If you walk backwards from the small meadow on expert 3 you'll run into it soon.

Today at noon, approx 14F the trail was very icy and rutty... especially on the last 3rd in the woods. For me, I took it extremely slow. However it was still fun.

Thank you all for the advice.
I will go the IMBA EPIC route as described on their website and this map I have.
I will also hit Green Valley again on the way back as suggested by Fett, thanks.
I will be heading there soon... I can't wait.

Brown County State Park / Advice for a first-timer to BC

I'll be spending the weekend at BC in a few weeks. I'd like to make my way to Hesitation Point and back at least.
Since the trail allow riders to go in either direction, I'd rather take the direction of least resistance in regards to sharp uphill climbing.

Can anyone recommend which directions to take (left or right, clockwise or counter-clockwise) at the following intersections towards Hesitation Point?

 1) Where the North Gate trail meets North Tower loop - clockwise (left) or counter-clockwise (right)?
 2) Where North Tower Loop meets Aynes Loop - clockwise (left) or counter-clockwise (right)?

On the way back from Hesitation Point should my direction around those loops be the same?
Can you suggest a path through Green Valley trail assuming the furthest I intend on going is Hesitation Point?

Thanks in advance.

In that case, let me update my order to two shirts:

  * 1 XL Short sleeve
  * 1 XL Long sleeve

User 'manderson' and 'pmanderson' (me) are two different people.

I was there today. The trail was nicer than I expected.
Much enjoyed!

I can make myself available for either of those days to mow, wack or cut.
I can bring my own tools.

"their website is not very user friendly"
I agree, I've already sent an email to their support folks regarding usability. Their breaking a lot of very basic rules.

I forgot how I initially associated my account to team RNP. But once I have, the only way I know to see the progress of the team is to click on "MY ACCOUNT" then scroll down to "YOUR GROUPS" and click it there.

After reading another post about sizing. I would order a XL, not a large.
Do you have a link describing the jersey dimensions and sizes?
