Conditions yesterday were nice with just a few wet spots. This was my first ride here. Trail was a lot of fun. I will have to get back soon.

At 5:00 today the trails could not have been much better. Just a few scattered small puddles. Unfortunately it looks like they got a fair amount of rain after we left. Weekend may depend on how much rain they got. They were dry enough that a lot of it will dry quickly.

Buy, Sell, Trade / Fisher Sugar 2 W/ Cracked frame
« on: April 04, 2017, 09:47:50 AM »
2000 Gary Fisher Sugar 2 With a crack in swing arm. If you have the frame, I have the parts. Full suspension, non disc brakes,  XTR hubs, XT rear, most of the rest is LX Shimano. 3X9 gearing. Most of the components have been replaced at some point so I am not sure of the age of each component. Bike is rideable but not safe as is. Might consider parting out if I can't sell it whole. $250

Town Run / Trail direction for runners?
« on: August 04, 2016, 02:41:02 PM »
Today I decided to run instead of bike. Which direction is the official way for runners? Is it better to run backwards similar to running on the left side of the road? This allows you to see oncoming bikes and get out of the way. Or do you turn your back and run with the traffic flow and wait for Strava Guy to run you down? As a biker I am frustrated with runners and walkers not paying attention to what is behind them. But after running backwards today I feel going the normal direction might be better. Not looking to start a biker vs. runner war but comments would be appreciated.

Thursday about 1:00 I found a bike computer laying in the middle of the parking lot. Left it on the picnic table. Good luck.

The race conditions were great. No mud at all. Our Florida group came up to race and was very impressed. Dino did a fantastic job as usual.

I finished riding at 12:00. Didn't see it laying on trail. What time were you riding?
