Yeah, I like the sound of these night races!   :D

The SWW DINO race last year rocked. Made me a big fan of that place. A night race there would be cool.

Couldn't agree more, Dave. SWW was my favorite race last year. It was fast, fun and Mann Hill made it unique with that one long steep climb every lap. Definitely looking forward to the night version, especially with some new trail in the mix!

I've raced mainly Xterra's for several years, and did my first Mountain Bike race last year and I had a blast, so I decided to concentrate on Mountain Bike races at least for this year.... I'll be racing CAT2 30-39.
Dave, I'll be right next to you on the trail build @ SWW, cant wait to get started. When it's finished it will be a destination ride in the Indy area. I just hope we can incorporate some of the elevation change into some leg blasting, lung burning climbs!!
Ric, as you probably already know the CAT2 40-49 age group is no joke! I have some friends that'll be in that AG this year and the competion is tough, good luck! I definitely understand the hate for running, while I don't hate it, it's not my sport of choice.

Happy New Year everyone! I'm curious what everyone's racing/riding plans are for the new year?

I'm planning on racing CatII and hopefully compete in every DINO race, as well as a possible Xterra or two if I can find the time to run and swim. I'm also going to try to do my FIRST Brown County Breakdown this year.

So what are YOUR plans for 2013?!?!

Rode today and the trail is rideable, a few wet spots, but no mud holes. Go ride and enjoy before we get more rain!  :)

I'm sure you're sick of this question, but is there any update on the new trails? I'm anxious to get started as i'm sure everyone is.

Brian, my son and I plan on being there and we're excited to see what DEVO is all about. Hopefully the trails are in good condition for the ride. See you there.

Tech Bench / X-fusion Velvet RL

I'm looking to convert my 2010 Epic to 650b and it looks as though my SID fork won't  have the clearance for that wheel size. I know Fox forks will work but will void the warranty where as the X- fusion Velvet RL is made for both and are priced nicely (I think around $300 new). Does anyone have any input or info on this brand and model? Internet reviews seem positive but wanted some local advice. Also weight and performance compared to the SID would be great! Thanks.

Trail is green. I removed lots of debris and branches off trail but there is a couple of trees down. Going clockwise there's one at about the .75 mile mark and at about the one mile mark. Other than that the trail is what some would call "hero dirt" with only a few very small wet spots. Happy riding!

Def not rideable! Tried to ride today and completed about a third of the loop clockwise before bailing off. Lots of wet sections with a lot of damage and deep ruts.
