Tech Bench / Five Ten dealer

Anyone know of a five ten dealer in the Indy area?  Wanting a set of shoes to go with my flats ... know I need to try the shoes on instead of just ordering online.

...Saw later that he made it out ok and got all stitched up...

We should all have the BCSP and BC Sheriffs Dept, phone numbers saved in our cell phones for emergency use. It has expedited more than one extraction of a downed rider.

Never thought of a direct dial.  Care to share the numbers?

I also did a betterride camp.  Take paper and writing utensil.  The best option I saw was a guy using his phone to record some of the demonstrations.  THIS is something I wish I had from my camp.  Be prepared for all levels of experience to be there.  You will get out of it when you put into it.

Is this a one vote only?  Or once per day?  FB let's me vote daily.  Or is my vote done?

Lumberjack fills FAST.  Mohican is June 1.  I've completed the 100k twice now.  Cohutta is in April, if that helps.  THough there are fireroads involved, they are steep and long.

I'm interested in getting to more of the WEMS races.  Those are totally off-road endurance events.

Where in the Indy area are you?

Add trainerroad to the mix and you have a pretty good combination.  Sufferfest videos are built into the mix (you have to buy the videos seperately).

I really like Novara Headwind Bike Pants with a windproof front and highly breathable backs. These make a world of difference...http://www.rei.com/product/815145/novara-headwind-bike-pants-mens. There are several makers of this type of pant/tight. Combine these with winter boots and a few thin layers of synthetics and wool and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the info on the pants.  My goal is to keep commuting until the roads are not smart (can't do the mtb commute ... too far) and the legs are my last real concern.  These might be the thing!

Blocking the wind will do a ton for keeping you warm.  Water resistant jackets will do that and still breath.
You can get neoprene booties to cover your shoes as well.  Another way to get you started without a huge investment.  Mine do a pretty good job of keeping my feet warm (so long as I can keep them dry).
I wish I could borrow a set of these ThermaCells to try -- and just found a video for !

Tech Bench / Re: Phone Mount for MTB?

Ray has done a ton of evals on DC Rainmaker of different mounts.  This is for the iPhone but there might be another option for yours.

12 solo again this year.  Goal is at least 2 more laps than last year.

still just a little stoked. I'm really looking forward to the DINO 24hr this weekend.

Hopefully this year you won't have to beat one of my wheels straight!  :)
