Tech Bench / Re: Preferred Tire for Indy Trails

I'm running Schwalbe Racing Ralphs and they are pretty good.
Still haven't found a hardpack tire that works better for my bike than the
Maxxis Crossmarks it came with.
I am using UST tires.

This was great fun last year.
Not very many people came out for the SWW one.
The more riders the more fun it is.
Come out and play in the dark! 8)

Yes, that was me that crashed in the gravel ditch, alifford.
Thank you for pulling me out.
I thought you were the last singlespeeder to catch me, but you must have been lapping me.
Really all I saw of you was your hand and your helmet light.
I was not the guy with the dead car battery.
I was not having a good ride and was going to quit after the 2nd lap
but started to feel better and went out for a 3rd lap and crashed.
At least I was near a place I could get to the gravel road and get back easy.
Saw the Doc today and he says I am okay.
Had a great time last year at TRTP so I will come back out for that.
SWW is just a little too unforgiving in places.
Anyway big thanks again to everyone that helped.
My C-dale Rush has a nasty scratch on it now.

Just wanted to thank the singlespeed racer who helped me out of the rocky creek bed after my crash.
And the staff at Planet Adventure who made sure I was okay before I left.
And to Bell helmets company. Gotta get a new helmet!
The one I was wearing saved me.

SWW was also my favorite race last year.
I liked being able to do some racing before the climb.
The other venues with the climbs at the start just let the
people good at climbing get away.

I am going to start with the Bop to the Top stairclimb.
Did the whole DINO series last year and didn't do very well.
So, I am giong to do one Xterra on a team and maybe a couple of the
DINO races on courses I like.
Going to use the other open weekends to do some charity rides and some longer
MTB and road rides.

3 is my number.
My old Schwinn Moab is my general purpose bike.
Winter, casual, Thirsty Thur., commuter if I didn't work so early.
The Moab donated parts to build up a Rocket 88 frame.
As the 88 got upgraded the parts came back to the Moab and it became whole again.
My race/trail bike is the Cannondale Rush Carbon 3.
A really good ride. But I kinda want a 29er.
My road bike is a 10 year old Trek 2200.
I know there are better road bikes. But it still amazes me every time I ride it.

Darn, This is a really cool ride. Wanted to get out once more before it ended. :(
